Reorder Points
Reorder Points
Different products need different starting points.
A single threshold will not suit every item. Product-level settings help you decide when stock deserves attention, while the reorder report brings that decision into your review.
Product-level limits
Give important items a threshold that suits their replenishment needs.
Consistent defaults
Fall back to company settings when no product threshold is entered.
A replenishment view
Review items against their reorder point in the stock report.
Frequently asked questions
Good questions. Clear answers.
Does a reorder point create a purchase automatically?
No. A threshold identifies stock requiring attention. It does not automatically place a supplier order.
Does the report include goods on the way?
The current purchasing workflow receives stock when a purchase invoice is posted. The report does not have a separate pending-receipt quantity.
